“Let us break bread together,” says the song. Instead of our usual Maundy Thursday Meal in the Upper Room, we would like to have a COVID-safe and still meaningful “Meal in Your Room - Together.” The location will be your own home, but the opportunity to join together on this Holy Thursday will unite our hearts. Together on Zoom we will remember our Lord gathering with his disciples to transform the Passover Meal into the Lord’s Supper. We would like to ask you to have some kind of bread as a part of your meal as a sign of our unity as we break bread together. The rest of the menu will be up to you. (If you would like a list of foods that we have traditionally had at the Meal in the Upper Room, let us know and we will supply that to you.) The date is April 1, the time is 6:30pm. There will be a short prayer and the reading of a Bible passage as a part of the evening. There will also be opportunity to share our voices and view our faces.
