Just for Fun


Members of Peace Lutheran Church also like to have fun together. Here are some of the ways we fellowship together.

Church Picnic
Our annual church picnic lunch is great family fun! It is usually held in September after the 11:00 am worship service. Activities have included everything from a Dino Jump, water balloon toss, hitting a piñata, face painting, bean bag toss, and much, much more. Everybody is invited to bring a side dish. Chicken and hot dogs are provided.

Men’s Dartball
If you like sports, but don’t like to get injured, here is a game for you! Dartball combines the finesse of darts with the exuberance of baseball to make a fun, challenging, and unique game. The men meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm.

Volleyball and Softball
If you are sports orientated and not afraid of injury, then we have two options for you; volleyball which usually starts in February or softball which starts in the spring.

Trailblazers
There are two specific requirements needed to be in this group. One, you had to blaze the way for the rest of us! And two, you need to be 55 and older. But don’t think that the trailblazing has stopped. This group meets on the second Tuesday of the month for lunch and games. Outings are offered as well.

Scrapbooking
This group meets on Friday nights and/or Saturdays (often all day). The purpose of this group is to enjoy each other's company while trying to get cherished family memories into an attractive order.

Young Adult Group
The Young Adult Group is an opportunity for faith, fellowship, and fun for young adults 21 years and older, married or single. Monthly outings are planned by members of the group that will appeal to the interest of this age group. Activities will be announced in the monthly newsletter and weekly bulletins.
