Below you will find information or links to help you get to know a little bit about us. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
Peace is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the largest group of Lutherans in the United States. We want to help people connect to a God of love who invites us into a relationship of forgiveness, compassion, hope and serving.
Peace has a special emphasis on service and social action. That means we’re packed with volunteer opportunities that will help you serve people in need, from hunger to keeping people warm.
In addition to worship opportunities, Peace offers multiple opportunities for study and fellowship. Everyone is invited to participate in our many Bible studies, classes and book groups, fellowship groups, service groups like prayer shawls or quilting.
There are three worship services: Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00. All of them seek to offer meaningful, inspiring and connected-to-real-life music, preaching, and whole-life experiences. Our worship services are more on the traditional side than not, but are not “stodgy.”
What do people wear?
Dress is casual at all services, although there is a great mix of dress at all three services. You are welcome to wear whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Children Are Welcome
Children are welcome in this church! We have a children’s sermon during all three services and want kids in worship! There will always be some children in the service of worship because we love having the youngest amongst us. If you feel you need to leave during the service with your child, we encourage you to feel comfortable moving about, but we also encourage you to come back. We have video and audio of the worship in our entrance area so you can pop out and come back easily. Most of the time there is a nursery available for children 5 and under if you’d prefer.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School meets from September through May and begins at 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. We have classes for kids and adults, from 3 year olds through 100 year olds.

"I firmly believe that being a part of a meaningful community helps me understand and deal with life. It also is the location for sharing in the important days of life. Most of all, I believe that the church is a place to which God calls us. We need to experience and hear again and again that we are loved and forgiven, that we are important and can give of ourselves, that the doubts and questions as well as joys and assurances we have are vital to God and to each other. The church on earth is a human vehicle to serve God. It will have the same problems that all humans have. But it is also the instrument God can use to inspire all of us to see God’s presence in our lives." – Pastor Dave Hedlin
