YOUTH CHALLENGING YOUTH
Increasing in knowledge of God’s Word. (Studying scripture, and worshiping together) Growing in the character of Christ. (Who was Jesus and how are we called to be the light of Christ to others)
Asking and discussing tough questions (stereotypes, school shootings and gun violence, etc.)

We at Peace teach confirmation during 7th and 8th grade. Confirmation is when our youth learn about their own beliefs and the scriptures, sacraments, and creeds that are so important to faith. At the culmination of their 8th grade year, youth affirm their baptism and become adults in the Church.

Join us to learn about the amazing gifts God gives to us in communion! Traditionally at Peace, 5th grade has been the age for First Communion, however, all are welcome at Christ's table, so if you have a kid who desires to take communion, they are welcome in our class.
Our Jr Youth Group, grades 3rd-6th, gathers once a month for fun, faith, and fellowship. We alternate each month having events at Peace and going to places in our community together. Events include things like, making pizza and slime together, going to the apple orchard, or putt-putt golf, etc.
