Music


Throughout the centuries, music has been a way for people to express their feelings for and to God, from the Psalms to Bach and Handel all the way through to today’s popular Christian music. Some have expressed their music through voice and others through instruments. Some have preferred to listen and others to share their talents. Regardless of your preferences, we are blessed with a wonderful music ministry program.

During Worship we sing a wide variety of hymnody from centuries old to brand new and from around the world.

Special Music
For those of you who have a talent/gift for music, we invite you to share it with God and others during worship. There are several spots during worship where you can be an active part of the service. This opportunity is open to anybody wishing to worship God in this way. An offering of special music is always thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all members of the congregation.

Adult Choir
This is a wonderful way to be part of our church service and to have fun too. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 - 8:15 pm. Everybody is welcome!

Children’s Choir
Everyone in grades 2-8 is welcome to join this choir. The younger members will learn basic singing skills. Older choir members will assist younger members and have a variety of solo and small group opportunities. This choir rehearses Wednesdays, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm and sings at services twice a month.

Adult Bell Ringers
Peace has an adult bell choir. Even if you’ve never played in a bell choir before, you can enjoy being part of this music ministry. The bell choir practices on Thursdays from 7-8 pm.

PeaceBand
A worship band leads the Contemporary Worship Service the second Sundays of the month at 6:00 pm. Singers, instrumentalists and helpers of all kinds are welcome to participate.
